desperatly seeking advice

I recently bought a mobile home and was planning to open up the wall of the living room between it and the mobile home I already had but my insurance company wont cover the home if I alter my current mobile home. Is there any insurance companies that will cover my mobile home even if I alter it to make it larger? Any information would be appreciated
