we have a 1979 double wide

can i take out the interal wall to make a open floor plan and do i need to renforce the roof truss for this project

Removing Interior walls.

The roof trusses are normally designed to support the entire span. MH's are not built like site built homes with load bearing interior walls as a rule. However, having said that I would still contact the manufacturer just to make sure or have an experienced MH contractor/installer provide an inspection on the home before you start ripping walls out.
