street light repair at a mobil home park

by Christine
(Bothell, WA)

I live in a mobile home park. Each mobile has a street light located at the end of the driveways. The light at the end of my driveway went out. I replaced the bulb, waited until dark, and the light did not come on.
I sent an e-mail to management asking that the light be repaired. They wrote back saying "The lamp post light on your property is your responsibility". The thing is, I don't own the property, just the mobile. Who is responsible for the repair of the light post?

I have the same problem! I dont see a response to question. I hope someone can answer this. I live in AZ and it is my understanding that he owner has a responsibility to keep the property safe and I think this would fall under unsafe conditions. You can not see and it opens the door for burglars. Due to no lights the crooks came up on my porch (I did not hear them) and took items. Someone saw them but it was so dark outside could not give a description.
