Good afternoon my name is Pete and
I have always been immpressed with
your product. Would you be so kind
to give me a ball park figure on a
Golden West/Destiny GE521F 1620 SQ FT. 2003 Great shape. Please help I have
problems understanding NADA
books. I realize that options determine total price lets just say this is
drywall and wood cabinets and generally nicely done

How to determine a homes value

We will be writing a page specifically going over this as it is a very common question.

Here is the scoop: A home is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. That may sound obvious, but people overlook the obvious all the time.

What anyone who wants to know the current value of a home needs to do is a little footwork/homework. This might consist of:

1) Research recent sales of similar sized homes, in similar condition - near the home in question.

2) Hire an appraiser to do an appraisal of the property

3) Seriously think about how much you would be willing to pay for the home (if you are buying) or how much you would let the home go for (if selling). Because, honestly, if you are satisfied with this number, then nothing else matters.

Now, you can use the NADA guide, but this is only a guide and local demand, condition, and location are all factors that will make a tremendous difference in some instances.

We suggest that hiring an appraisal is the best thing to do.
